Founded by Roxy Jacenko at the ambitious age of 24, Sweaty Betty PR started from humble beginnings in a small office with a team of three, to a diverse PR agency with over 20 staff members and 70+ clients, housed in a sleek cavernous space in Sydney’s warehouse district. In 2011, Sweaty Betty PR celebrates its seventh year of business – in constant demand from global brands and niche labels, on every major fashion magazines’ speed dial, and with a raft of TV appearances under their belts.

The agency has re-written the PR rule book, choosing to step away from the standard (and frankly tired) methods and creating its own streamlined, effective system of communicating. Social media comes as second nature to Roxy and her publicists, with many clients trusting them to manage their online strategies. And not forgetting these are the PR’s who have staged events that people talk about for years to come – Sweaty Betty PR brought US rapper Snoop Dogg to Australia for Arnette sunglasses, they put the Cleo Bachelor of the Year Awards firmly on the map in 2011, and threw an extravagant cosmetics launch at the Opera House which was truly a night to remember.
