VIVID Sydney is upon us! The celebrated program of bold and vibrant events in the heart of the city centre draws thousands of locals and travelers alike.

The festival of light, music and ideas kicks off TODAY on the 27 of May with the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails, showcasing our iconic harbor to the world. This light display by artist Brian Eno is the main attraction of VIVID and will be on display every night from 6pm-1am until the festival ends on the 21 of June. Last year, over 200 thousand people visited to witness Eno’s ‘Lighting of the Sails’, and over 60 million people s  images of the sails internationally via television.

Also featured in VIVID are multiple light installations along Macquarie Street and at The Rocks. Live music will rock Sydney’s streets during a three-day ‘Song Summit’ showcasing established and emerging artists. Live VIVIDly, and be sure to check out this incredible fest!
