A Jetstar A320 has been specially painted with Quiksilver branding and the image of up-and-coming surfer Julian Wilson ahead of the 2010 Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast this weekend.

The design is one of only a handful the budget airline has done for brands before, with Jetstar saying the surfing brand was a good fit with its focus on “holidays, fun and good times.” Pro-surfer Kelly Slater and Wilson were flown to the Gold Coast yesterday, and the aircraft will be used to fly around Australia and overseas.
