Bondage, in all its soft slashed leather and hardcore body harness forms, is here to stay. At least that was the message designer Frida Giannini seemed to be sending with her newest Gucci collection. Naturally the shoe obsessed Betties HEART the shoes from this collection!!

Gladiator and warrior inspired sandals with generous platforms and six inch heels, some brandishing metal hardware fastened by rows of neat, intricate knots, others cuffed widely at the ankle with layered leather straps, and what will surely be one of the most sought after shoes of the season: the knee-high black leather pair with asymmetric, geometric cut-outs. Regardless if you’d wear ‘em or not, this is a collection that punches the wind out of women and chases straight men back to the peep-toe section of the shoe salon.
