You know your pretty darn lucky when an invite appears on your desk to the CLEO Bachelor lunch, not only is there 2 hours of gazing through over 450 + fine specimens (and perhaps a few not so fine) but also an afternoon out of the office with a bunch of fun and fabulous ladies – with killer ensembles to match! Today’s Panel lunch was held at the Winery, which unlike the rest of Sydney was a brand new destination for Me (Maz Compton, yes I know, you have been and your EVEN MARRIED) I need to get out more!!!!

Now, while it was a beautiful sunny day, it seems that I have a knack for choosing THE WORST attire based on the conditions. Last year I sported Black Ksubi Ripped Jeans and a Pair of YSL heels that meant walking was just about a non event, the day was 40c so apart from walking like I had run a half marathon I was a ball of frizz with the sun beaming down on me…. Today, well, I chose a new Lisa Marie Fernandez number, which was made from none other than NEOPRENE. YEP. NEOPRENE. So, instead of sitting in my backless number with bare shoulders and a messed up bun, I was making 30 minute visits to the ladies to ‘pat’ down my skin which was holding in that heat in an absolute BEAUTY…
Just like a wetsuit is meant to do!

All in all – a darn fab day. Didn’t eat to much, was too busy voting on the lads, broke more than a sweat a few times with the appearance amongst the candidates of 2 past loves and a bevy of wonderful ladies to chat and laugh with – Kate, Lizzy, Sammy, Bigsy, Fuzzy & the CLEO girls – THANKS!

NB: I cannot finish this post without paying credit to my two little fashionistas, Montarna and Sar – So I love my dress, my shoes are totally A-Mazing – it was as you would both say ‘I Die’ worthy – this picture doesn’t give credit to your ‘styling’ session 30 mins pre lunch BUT as you understand – Neoprene gets very cold when the one gets back to the reality of her desk and is sat under 3 fierce air con jets – so much so that I was forced to fetch a lovely warm Bras n Things www.brasnthings.com dressing gown to prevent me from now catching pneumonia… ahhhh chew!
