Spike Jonze’s ‘Where The Wild Things Are’

After more than two years of anticipating the release of Spike Jonze’s ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, (based on the 1963 book by Maurice Sendak) it’s here, it’s finally here!!!!!! Last night I was incredibly privileged to be given a ticket to one of Australia’s first screenings at Sydney’s Fox Studios. Put simply the film is brilliant; the characters are depicted to perfection and the music in the film is so engulfing it immediately takes you on Max’s journey.
If you’re like me and have grown up with this book being one of your favorites’ you must see this movie, even if you haven’t read the book you still must see this movie. The scenery, set design, music and characters are enough to make you appreciate the genius of Spike Jonze and how he’s put the pages of this book into a beautiful motion picture.
‘Where the Wild Things Are’ is due for release in Australia Thursday the 3rd of December
