Camper & Doshi Levien present their amazing new collaboration for Spring/Summer 2013.

This creative Duo has been a part of the Camper family since collaborating in the design of the Roma, Vancouver and Boston stores. The projects feature and portray in a playful way, the colours and interior elements of the Mediterranean and the authentic simplicity of prime materials with a pinch of magic for good measure, resulting in the idea of an eternal summer.

Now collaborating in a fabulous Twins Artista collection for the Spring/Summer of 2013 the duo have taken inspiration from the Indian Summer school uniform, maths notebooks, cloud free skies, ice-cream parlours and geometric Indian sweets covered in silver foil, The Camper Twins collection celebrated the hybrid of glamour and utility.

The collection families’ three styles – 2 sandals for women and a dress shoe for the males. The geometric and deconstructed feeling of the shoe is inspired by painting by Theo Van Duesburg and artist of the international avant-garde. Each component of the designs is used as a graphic element to enhance parts of the foot. The graphic silver print hatch lines and check pattern are combined with brightly coloured little number jewels, like sketches in notebooks. The round fastenings are like badges adorning the ankles. All shoes are made in dusty coloured suede, making them light and soft, perfect for the beautiful Spring/Summer days.
