Dreaming- Tracey Deep

August 29th, 2012

Are you prepared to be whisked away by beautiful sculptures and installations that push the boundaries within the art world and nature as we know it?

Dreaming by Tracey Deep is the latest exhibition to be launched by Roger Foley-Fogg at Waterloo’s Depot Gallery. This nature filled installation and sculpture series embodies the realm of environmental art using sculptures and installations as the two main art forms. Tracey Deep’s passion for working with industrial, organic, preloved and discontinued materials creates the idea of sustainable art in our society. Revelling into the natural world, Deep’s work juxtaposes light and shade with sensual forms and earth textures which brings forth the essence of nature.

Tracey Deep is well known for her floral sculptures which she has created over the past 20 years. This love for floral art soon developed further into environmental art which created a new canvas for her to work from. Deep could now combine the two loves together to create a new art form.

Be sure to check out Tracey Deep’s  newest exhibition Dreaming launched Tuesday September 11th 2012 from 6-8pm at The Depot Gallery 3/2 Danks Street Waterloo.

The exhibition runs from the 11th – 15th of September 2012.
