PUMA YARD

August 15th, 2012

London’s Brick Lane has had a flurry of excitement this month, opening its 479,160 square foot PUMA BACK YARD to the public. An indoor PUMA Social Club and an outdoor BACK YARD and PUMA QUAD set the scene for celebrations of Olympic proportions, with lucky consumers being treated to Kingston-inspired food stalls serving authentic Jamaican cuisine, a Beach Bar with refreshing island libations, music and entertainment by Professor Green and Manny Norte, recreational areas and the PUMA Speed Test to test their top speed on a track.

Professor Green getting the crowd going!

PUMA YARD is a continuation of the popular Social Clubs that PUMA has launched in major cities all over the globe, from Abu Dhabi to New York to Tokyo to Paris and beyond, celebrating the “After Hours Athlete.” Like PUMA, it offered the perfect mix of lifestyle and entertainment activities to help Londoners get to know all that the brand stands for and its rich Jamaican heritage. Visitors even scored exclusive PUMA YARD lifestyle-performance products and fan wear designed exclusively for PUMA by Cedella Marley, daughter of reggae legend Bob Marley!

Sprinting superstar Usain Bolt joined the party, hitting the decks and winding down after his outstanding Olympic run (no pun intended!)
