Sydney based sister and brother duo Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman have continued to impress with fashion label Camilla and Marc. Since the brands Australian Fashion Week debut in 2003 the repertoire of beautiful frocks mixed with tailored pieces designed for elegant women has become a staple in every fashionistas wardrobe. 

 

With the label given the honors of opening RAFW 2009, the pair described inspiration for the spring/summer 2009-10 collection as sex, strength and skin. Bring on little black body-con dresses with zippers, ripped denim jeans and blazers tailored with the season’s mandatory ‘Belmain-esk’ strong-shoulder. Then add a leather bomber jacket in a pale blush pink, a must-have curved zippered mini skirt and the addition of chain-strapped envelope bags and platform boots, and SB fav, S/S0 9/10 must have accessory, RETROSUPERFUTURE (www.retrosuperfuture.com ) black flat top sunglasses.

 

We loved the cool tanks, paired with slouchy denim shorts, relaxed silver knits, and thigh-skimming metallic dresses. A to die for collection with many many ‘must haves’ – we will be sure to take a trip to the recently opened flagship Camilla and Marc boutique on Glenmore Rd, Paddington, as soon as the collection is in store.
