# LEVI’S THE ORIGINAL
December 1st, 2011LEVI’S & Sweaty Betty celebrated the Arrival of the Oldest Pair of Jeans landing in Australia for their world wind tour last night, at the infamous watering hole of Bondi Beach – Bucklers Canteen.
Under high security, 200 of Sydney’s hottest celebrities, Socials and Media came to check out what all the fuss was about over a pair of 132 year old jeans.

The irreplaceable jeans sat in a custom designed glass cabinet as the centre piece of the room highly guarded by 4 buff security who were under strict instruction that even a blink wasn’t allowed!
All the fuss was everything it was made out to be with all eyes on the jeans as Lynn Downey the Levi’s historian spoke a little on what pieces she had to identify the original owner and origin of the ‘XX.
Inside guests were helped to gather their thoughts after the introduction and history to the jeans with the help of one of Sydney coolest DJ’s Babalam, while outside we watched the creation of a one and only Levi’s ‘Go Forth’ art work come alive by graphiti artist Michael Green.

Sipping on C Coconut Water, Italia’s finest Peroni beer and Bondi’s best cocktail Vodka Southside guests snapped each other with Polaroids and took away their little rad films as a memory of the celebrations.
To top off a party only Levis and the Betties could put on, the night couldn’t get any better…until fireworks lit up the sky, as the vintage legs were escorted by security from the building.
Levi’s is the ORIGINAL creator of denim jeans – and the amazing 132 year old pair just reinforces this! Cheers to LEVIS ‘XX’

HAPPY SUMMER!
